What is the TechFirst Schools/ Colleges Scheme?
TechFirst is formally recognising schools and colleges across every region and home nation of the UK who are committed to providing a structured approach to excellence in technology and computing education, with successful applicants able to achieve a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.
TechFirst has appointed a Regional Delivery Partner in each area, who will manage the assessment and evaluation of TechFirst School applications, the growth of the TechFirst Schools community in the area, and help facilitate engagement between industry and schools in the region through events and tech-related activities.
What are the benefits to
schools and colleges?
TechFirst aims to recognise those schools and colleges whose approach to technology and computing education is excellent. Schools and colleges that achieve this recognition can expect to be:

formally recognised and promoted by TechFirst

provided with opportunities to engage with local and national companies seeking to invest time, expertise and resources in schools and colleges

provided with opportunities to engage with universities seeking to invest time, expertise and resources in local schools and colleges

TechFirst via its Regional Delivery Partners will present one of 3 awards:
