About TechFirst
TechFirst is a programme of opportunities to help young people and adults explore their passion for tech by introducing them to the fast-growing world of technology, from AI to cyber security to semiconductors. TechFirst Yorkshire is a partnership of Industry and Educational expertise consisting of Kings Priory Digital and RTC North.
TechFirst covers a broad range of activities: the TechFirst Undergraduate Scholarship to financially support students through university, a girls' only competition, thousands of free places on TechFirst courses at UK schools, colleges and universities, and support for doctoral researchers working on frontier technologies.
Each activity is designed to seek out diverse people with potential, offering the support, skills, experience and exposure needed to build the UK's future tech workforce.

We need people like you to help us inspire young minds and nurture talent to ensure the next generation of tech professionals will have the skills they need to shape our digital future.
That is why eligible secondary schools or colleges in TechFirst regions can apply to be a part of our TechFirst Schools and Colleges scheme.
Successful applicants receive TechFirst School recognition, achieving a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, and are promoted as leaders who are committed to providing a structured approach to excellence in technology and computing education.
